President - Dave Horan
Dave volunteered for the U.S. Army Special Forces in 1991. He attended the Special Forces Assessment and Selection, a 3 week process comprised of grueling orienteering and endurance events utilized to test an individuals ability to adapt to physical and mental challenges. He then graduated the Special Forces Qualification Course and became a member of a Special Forces team. In 1993, he graduated the U.S. Army's Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape Course. He has deployed to Central/South America, Europe, and participated in Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan. His years as a member of the "Green Berets" have given him the opportunity to apply his orienteering and survival skills in austere environments.
In 2004, Dave became a full-time Firearms and Tactics Instructor for Blackwater Worldwide located in Moyock, NC. He has trained military, law enforcement, civilian and government personnel. Dave has also deployed to hostile environments as a contractor for the government.
Dave has advised civilian, military and government personnel in firearms, security, tactics, defensive driving, leadership, fitness, survival, orienteering and team building.
Dave is an avid surfer, stand up paddleboarder, kayaker, outdoorsman, licensed skydiver and scuba diver.
